OpenBox Core

The OpenBox Core gets its name from the print head belt path, it uses a CoreXY design. Read More: CoreXY – RepRap

CoreXY printers usually have lighter compact print heads and thus can print faster with better quality using less space. The downside is CoreXY printers need to have good belt tension or the print quality will suffer.

It is possible to get a little more height on the Z-axis by using pancake-style stepper motors.
